The international tourism industry focuses on Hungary again. Tünde Torhosi master cosmetician, spa and wellness manager – Spa Supervisor of Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa, and Wellness Consultant of the Beauty Center in Naturmed Hotel Carbona – is the prize-winner of the „Blue Diamond” Award, which puts the spotlight each year on an outstanding person from the hotel and spa industry.
The organization of professional specialists in health tourism, called Forum Hotel&Spa, adjudge this prize for those, who has earned the recognition of his or her peers by a simple action or lifetime career and thus has been nominated by a panel of professionals and specialized journalists of the Hotel and Spa industry. The contest has run for more months, 14 persons could get into the final.
This is the first time, when a Hungarian professional was honoured with such a prestigious award. The investiture was placed in the famous Ritz Hotel in Paris. At the ceremony they drew the attention to her confession: “the shortest way between two people is a smile coming from your heart”. Beside the high-level knowledge this attitude lifted her up above the other competitors.
This award means an encouragement for all the Hungarian health tourism sector, that the self-confidence, the vocation and the openness is fructifying. Now not only our excellent thermal waters, internationally recognized hotels, but also our professionals who provide outstanding performance, guarantee a role for our country among Europe's best players in health tourism.
